On June 16, 2024, I had the incredible opportunity to attend P!NK's Summer Carnival Tour at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. We had Golden Circle tickets and went to the venue around 2 hours before the doors.

The timeline

Here's a rundown of the day's timeline:

3:15pm - start queuing for Golden Circle

5pm - doors

5:45 - 6:15pm Gayle (opening act)

6:30 - 7:14pm The Script (opening act)

7:55pm - Pink

9:55pm - The End

The Performance

It was my first time in Pink concert and wow, what a show! She is absolutely phenomenal - singing, dancing, doing acrobatics, everything at the same time. And she still seems so down-to-earth. You can really tell that she loves what she does and she is having fun on stage. Pink and her shows are simply unmatched. No more words needed.

The Setlist

I really enjoyed the setlist. It had a perfect mix of her old and new hits, with both upbeat and acoustic sections. She covered "Make You Feel My Love" and "What's Up," and while they were beautifully performed, I still wish she'd included more of her own amazing songs.

The Stage

The stage setup was amazing with a main stage and a T-shaped runway. We stood behind the left wing of the runway, close to the main stage (you can see the exact position in the drawing below). Had a great view and were near the barricade when Pink came our way. Sadly, she mostly went to the other side. Not sure if it’s just the London show or if she usually spends more time on the right side of the T stage.

The venue and queuing

Time for some criticism. Tottenham Hotspur Stadium had a strange system for letting people in. So what happened. We arrived around 2 hours before the doors and we were directed to the second queue. But then the first queue expanded as more people squeezed in, including those who arrived later than us. You can see in the video behind the huge queue behind the barricade thats the first queue. And, we ended up at the front of the second queue.

But when they started letting people in, the first queue, now much larger, went in first. We asked the staff about it, but they just said, "that's the way the system works." Thankfully, some kind people let us join the first queue with them.

If you're a fan, arrive early for queuing. The venue's system can feel very unfair and frustrating.

The Audience

I debated mentioning this, wanting to keep things positive, but it might help someone in the future. Basically, I assumed that Golden Circle fans would be respectful, but we were very unlucky with our neighbors.

We picked a decent spot but ended up next to a drunk girls spilling beer everywhere and a pushy mom shoving her daughter to the barricade, telling everyone where to stand, and not shutting up even during the concert. Note to self: avoid children and Karen moms next time.

The worst part was a drunk woman waving for her husband to join her just before Pink took the stage. He arrived, took up a lot of space, blocked views, and caused fights, frustrating everyone who had been waiting patiently.

The whole situation was stressful and frustrating. Next time, I’ll move if I see something similar happening. Fighting with these people drains the joy from the concert.

BTW, security saw this drunk man causing problems and did absolutely nothing. Even if we were right by the barricade so it was very easy to escort him.
